Paul Ezekiel

As the Executive Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Amp, Paul is responsible for all investment and M&A activities and global business development for the company. Since co-founding Amp, Paul has rapidly expanded the company’s global footprint into core markets in North America, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia and India, building Amp into a global energy player with deep local expertise.

Paul is a 20-year veteran of the energy markets, having acted as either a principal investor or developer of energy assets globally. He was most recently a Managing Director on the Energy Trading desk at Credit Suisse. His experience included the development of projects or businesses spanning thermal generation, renewable generation (solar, wind and biomass), energy efficiency, and energy storage (pump and battery). Paul holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Western Australia and Masters of Business Administration from Cornell University.

Andrew Scobie

Andrew is an economist, systems designer, and company director. He has a long history of involvement in public policy, industry and academic research in Australia, the European Union and the United Kingdom, and specialises in helping companies seeking to commercialise proprietary R&D in design, technology, and systems.

An investor in innovation, he is a former board member of the Australian Chamber Commerce & industry (ACCI), Greening Australia, and the (Australian) Business Finance Taskforce. Andrew has also been involved with The Demographic Change Council, and The Business Tax and Regulative Reform Council, both in Australia.

Andrew has founded and directed multiple technology start-ups and currently chairs Exigen, a systems design consulting business Andrew holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University (ANU), a Master of Design from University of Technology, Sydney, and is currently conducting PhD research in Economics at RMIT in Melbourne.

Dave Rogers

As the President and CEO of Amp, Dave is responsible for all strategy, operations and business development at the company. Since founding Amp, Dave has been instrumental in leading the company into a variety of dispatchable clean energy generation investments and offering high-value flexible energy services to our customers.

Prior to founding Amp, Dave was Director of Carbon markets at Front Street Capital, a leading investment management firm in Toronto with over US $3B of assets under management. He was responsible for originating and deploying capital to global investments in renewable energy as well as facilitating the purchase, sale and trading of carbon credits, both privately and through public exchanges.

Matthew Williams

Over the past 4 years Matt has lead the engineering team in finding technology and systems design solutions to the Energy Trilemma.

He is the lead engineer developing the Faraday Exchanger IP, and is the co-author of the Faraday Exchanger and Faraday Grid patents. He is also Managing Director of systems design engineering consultancy Exigen.

In the recent past, Matthew has been responsible for technical, client and management of major investments in systems engineering design, problem solving and validation projects in Australia, China and the US.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Queensland.
